Chicken and Cabbage Stir-fry
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 200g chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 400g finely shredded cabbage
- 2 cloves of fresh garlic, sliced or crushed
- 2-3cm fresh ginger, grated
- ¼ cup tamari
- ½ cup water
- Optional: Chilli to taste, finely chopped
Method:
- Combine tamari, garlic and ginger
- In a frypan, cook chicken in ½ of the tamari mixture until chicken is cooked through
- Remove from pan and set aside
- Using the same pan, add a little water to remove any chicken flavour stuck to the bottom. To the water, add the cabbage and remaining tamari mixture. Add optional chili if using.
- Stir-fry the cabbage mixture until cabbage is cooked (but still a little crunchy). Add cooked chicken pieces and toss until combined.
- Top with fresh herbs and fresh lemon juice
