Pikelet Bread
This recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free!
Our pikelet bread is so easy to make, and the recipe can be easily adjusted to be savoury or sweet – the sky is the limit with what toppings you can put on them!
They are great to have in the fridge to quickly grab for a healthy snack, or made to pack in school lunches if the school allows nuts.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup almond meal
- ½ cup tapioca flour
- ½ teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons macadamia oil or coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons coconut yogurt
- 80ml water
Method
- Mix ingredients well.
- Cook in a pan on medium heat.
- Make small pikelet size circles.
- Place desired toppings on top.
