Hi, I’m Peter Mullen, principal Naturopath and clinic director of Mullen Natural Health Centre.

I’ve had over 30 years’ experience in Naturopathy and over those 30 years have built a successful Naturopathic clinic. Currently we have four other highly qualified Naturopaths, a designated testing technician and structured reception team to support our busy practice all located in Newcastle, NSW.

I have helped thousands of people get their health on track and understand how to encourage and inspire patients to create change. Now, I want to help you gain the tools to develop your own ability to inspire your own patients and grow your business.

I developed my Mentorship Program because I am constantly asked “how can I learn to be a successful practitioner and operate a professional practice?”. I’ve come to recognise that many have the knowledge to be a practitioner but what they don’t teach through your education is how to connect with your clients and operate a successful business.

My Mentorship program is designed to assist Naturopaths in furthering their skills as a practitioner and learning how to build and grow a successful practice.

My program runs over three days where you will have face-to-face experience sitting in with myself observing a range of initial consultations, result consultations and follow up consultations.

You will gain all of this experience over the three days for $990 inc GST.

How it works

The mentorship will run over 3 days – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The first two days you will sit in with myself from 8am – 6pm as I see my regular client base. On the Tuesday at lunch time you will also have a trip with me to the local radio station where you will observe the weekly radio segment on health. Wednesday will be another chance for you to observe consultations in progress from 8am – 1:30pm. At 1:30 you will have the opportunity to sit in on our weekly practitioner meeting. In the afternoon you will have 2 hours with me for a Q&A where you can ask all your burning questions and review any files you bring along.

Your mentorship program doesn’t end after this though! I also offer a complimentary Zoom session in the weeks after the mentorship to follow up and see how you’ve been implementing your learnings as well as give you the chance to ask any further questions you may have.

You will also get the opportunity to sit down for an hour with our marketing team to get an insight into our marketing strategies and ask any marketing related questions you may have.

At the end of your Mentorship you will be presented with a certificate which can be used to gain CPE points through your association.

Who is the Mullen Mentorship for?

New Graduates: The transition period from leaving college to entering the workplace can be challenging and it’s often difficult to know where to start. Use this mentorship to open up networking opportunities in the field and learn all the tips and tricks on running a practice that they don’t teach you in college.

Experienced Practitioners: Whether you have been practising for years or are getting back into the industry after a break, this mentorship will provide networking opportunities and teach you the skills you need to help grow your clinic to the next level.

About your Mentor – Peter Mullen

I am an Integrative Naturopathic Practitioner with more than 30 years’ experience in helping my patients achieve their health goals.

I provide each patient with an individual treatment plan using in-depth knowledge of nutritional and herbal medicine, diet and lifestyle advice. I take a holistic approach to health and am passionate about finding the underlying causes of diseases and getting my patients back to feeling their best.

I studied Naturopathy at the NSW College of Natural Therapies and have qualifications in Clinical Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Remedial Therapy and Natural Fertility Management. I am constantly learning and keeping up to date with the latest health research, and am an advanced Hemaview and Dry Blood Practitioner, Frequency Specific Microcurrent Practitioner and Quadscan practitioner.

I have a broad knowledge about the benefits of Naturopathy and how it can be used to enhance our lives and prevent disease. As well as leading the practice, I am regularly a guest speaker at events and on local radio where I share my knowledge and tips on health issues.

I am a born and bred Novocastrian and created Mullen Natural Health Centre together with my beautiful wife Dayna. I’ve got two grown-up kids, a cavoodle and a spoodle, and enjoy spending my spare time soaking up Newcastle’s beautiful coastline.
