Ginger Juice Smoothie

I make juice every Sunday night in my juicer and I so enjoy drinking them for the next few days. It’s a great way to start your week focused on eating really wholesomely and getting right into the nutrients our food has to offer. To switch things up, I add 2 tablespoons of homemade and/or coconut yoghurt to make it extra creamy and enjoy a totally different taste! If you blend them up with ice, it makes more of a frappe too!

Recipe makes 2 litres. The lemons keep the juice for about three days. It will lose some value day by day, however three day old juice is better than no juice!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 beetroots
  • 6 carrots
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 4 lemons
  • 4 green apples
  • 4 oranges
  • At least an index finger long piece of ginger

METHOD:

Make your juice, stir in your yoghurt, sip and enjoy.
